OnPoint Community Credit Union is a state-chartered credit union headquartered in Portland, Oregon. It is the largest credit union in Oregon by assets and one of the larger credit unions in the Pacific Northwest. The credit union was founded in 1932 and has grown to serve a broad community of Oregon and Southwest Washington residents.
OnPoint is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative insured by the National Credit Union Administration up to $250,000 per depositor. As a cooperative, it does not have outside shareholders, and it focuses on providing competitive rates and financial products to its members.
Membership is open to individuals who live or work in the greater Portland metropolitan area and other qualifying counties in Oregon and Southwest Washington. This includes Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, and Columbia counties in Oregon, and Clark and Skamania counties in Washington. Employees of qualifying employers and family members of existing members are also eligible.
OnPoint commonly offers checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, home equity products, personal loans, and credit cards. Its auto loan rates are frequently cited as competitive in the Oregon market, and it provides financing for both new and used vehicles. Mortgage products cover purchase and refinance. OnPoint also offers a range of savings products and business banking services.
OnPoint operates a large network of branches across the Portland metro area and in other qualifying communities. It provides full online and mobile banking services and ATM access through a surcharge-free network.
