Also known as: Ent CU; Ent
Ent Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is the largest credit union in Colorado by assets and one of the larger credit unions in the Rocky Mountain region. The credit union was founded in 1957 to serve members of the US military and civilian employees at Peterson Air Force Base and has grown significantly since then.
Ent is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative insured by the National Credit Union Administration up to $250,000 per depositor. As a cooperative, it does not pay profits to outside investors, and any surplus is used to provide better rates and services to members.
Membership is open to active duty and retired military personnel, Department of Defense civilian employees, employees of qualifying organizations, and individuals who live or work in certain communities in Colorado. The geographic field of membership covers much of the Front Range, including Colorado Springs, Denver, Pueblo, and surrounding areas. Family members of existing members can also join.
Ent commonly offers checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, home equity products, personal loans, and credit cards. Its auto loan rates are frequently cited as competitive in Colorado, covering both new and used vehicles. Mortgage products include conventional, FHA, and VA options. The credit union also offers a range of savings products and digital banking tools.
Ent operates a large network of branches across the Colorado Front Range, with the greatest concentration in Colorado Springs and the Denver metro area. It provides full online and mobile banking services.
Colorado residents along the Front Range, particularly those with military or government connections, should check their eligibility and compare Ent's products with other available financial institutions before making borrowing or savings decisions.
